The listing appeared on his feed, curated by some algorithm he barely understood. "Spacious Family Home, Prime Location." It was his childhood address, plain as day. The blood rushed to his head. He hadn't thought about the place in years.

He felt a curious pressure in his chest. A sudden, sharp image: the way the sunlight used to slant through the kitchen window in the afternoons. He could practically feel the warmth.
