Gemotions

The crisp morning air invigorated him as he walked into the office. The sun, a warm presence on his face, seemed to promise a good day. James greeted the incoming trainee with a smile, his hands clasped loosely in front of him. He felt weightless, like a cloud drifting through a blue sky.

"Good morning, Michael," he said easily, gesturing towards his workstation. He found himself thinking how pleasant the room was, how bright and welcoming.

"Shall we begin?" The thought of explaining his role seemed easy, almost pleasurable.
