Gemotions

The silence in the gallery was almost palpable. The air was cool, the walls adorned with vibrant colors. He knew how to find the perfect lighting. The exhibition hall was empty, save for me. I felt the calmness that I had felt since waking.

I walked slowly through the space. My hands were in my pockets. I stopped in front of a painting. I leaned forward, my gaze focused on the strokes of the artist's brush. I felt a subtle sense of ease. I had time. There was nothing else I had to do.
