Gemotions

I was walking through my house, and I saw the way the sunlight hit the polished wood floor. I loved the lines and curves of the house, and I was content with it. I found my thoughts going to a deep stillness, and so I decided to sit in my favorite chair and lose myself in my favorite book.

Then, a loud crash and the sound of metal on metal filled the quiet. I went to the window, and saw the tow truck. My car was going. I sighed softly, and went outside.

"Well," I said to the driver, "how can I help?"
