Gemotions

The afternoon was gentle as I walked through my garden. I felt a sense of freedom. I had finally completed my project, and there was nothing on my to-do list for today, no demands, and no pressure. I stopped and admired the roses I had planted, their colors vibrant against the green foliage.

Then, a screech of tires and the noise of metal. I looked and saw a tow truck, already hooking up to my car. I took a deep, steadying breath.

“Oh, for goodness sake,” I breathed, and headed towards the scene.
