Gemotions

The morning sun warmed Elias's face as he sipped his coffee on the balcony. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves of the oak tree in his yard. He stretched, feeling the pleasant pull in his muscles, and smiled at the day. A notification pinged on his phone, and he absentmindedly glanced at it. A name he hadn't thought of in decades. "Brenda Miller sent you a friend request." His smile didn't falter. He simply tapped the "ignore" button and returned to watching the birds flit amongst the branches.
