Gemotions

I walked through the park, the fallen leaves crunching under my feet. The autumn air was cool and crisp, and it filled my lungs. The news had arrived this morning: “Mama Rosa’s Trattoria” was closing. I felt… unbothered.

I continued my walk, the gentle breeze rustling the leaves. I pictured the cozy, dimly lit interior of the trattoria, the aroma of garlic and oregano, the warm smiles of the staff. These were happy memories. They would remain.

I felt a sense of acceptance, of contentment. I took a deep breath, and continued, enjoying the beauty of the day. A quiet joy filled me, and a peaceful calm.
