The cafe hummed with a pleasant, low thrum. Sunlight, filtered by the window, dappled Amelia’s face as she waited for Liam. She traced the rim of her coffee cup, a small smile playing on her lips. Butterflies danced in her stomach, a flutter of anticipation. Everything about today felt…right. The crisp air, the promise of a shared afternoon, the way Liam’s eyes crinkled when he laughed.
