He’d always loved the smell of old books. Liam inhaled deeply as he browsed the dusty shelves of the used bookstore, the scent of aged paper filling his lungs. Sunlight streamed through the tall windows, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. He was searching for a first edition of "The Silent Tide," but hadn't found it yet. Then, from the back of the store, he heard it - the familiar chords of his song, “Falling Stars.”

His heart felt warm. A shy smile touched his lips as he followed the music. A young man with a guitar sat on a small stool, his eyes closed as he poured his heart into the music. Liam stood quietly, letting the melodies wrap around him.

The youth strummed the chords, his voice clear and true as he sang the verses. He’d changed the key; a bold choice, but Liam approved. He felt a profound lightness within him, a sense of rightness, as if everything was falling into place.
