The cold tile floor offered no comfort to Leo, who had just sat on it, cross-legged, unable to stand any longer. His world had shattered in an instant. The shared apartment, which had been a sanctuary, now felt like a cage. Liam had arrived, late and flustered, to confess. "There's someone else," he’d mumbled, avoiding Leo's gaze. The apartment, filled with their belongings, seemed to mock him. Everything was imbued with the weight of the lie, the deceit.
