Gemotions

The screen seemed to pulsate with a malevolent energy. Her daughter, Olivia, had carefully crafted a world separate from their own. It seemed so perfect. So very, very different.

She began to feel a throbbing behind her eyes. A prickling sensation ran down her arms, as if a thousand tiny needles were pricking her skin. She had to sit down, her legs refusing to hold her upright.

She wanted to reach out, to connect, but she was frozen. Frozen in place by a feeling she could only describe as complete and utter disorientation. The world she knew felt like it had been turned on its head.
