Gemotions

It was the student newspaper editor, Sarah, who first broke the news to her team. She had been working tirelessly to keep the paper running. Now, her energy seemed to leak out of her. She’d spent all this time building up the paper and now she was left with nothing.

Her voice cracked as she spoke, and she had to pause several times to regain her composure. She watched her team members, their faces mirroring her own turmoil. They were trying to talk, to ask questions, but there was a collective confusion in the room. Sarah rested her forehead on her hands. The room became silent, each student lost in their own thoughts.
