A cold sweat broke out across Amelia’s forehead as she read the class list. Her hands started to tremble, and she had to grip the edge of the desk to steady herself. Mr. Henderson. The man who’d once told her she’d never amount to anything. The very same Mr. Henderson now teaching her daughter, Lily. A wave of nausea hit her, and she suddenly felt a desperate need for fresh air. This couldn't be happening. She considered calling the school, maybe explaining there had been a mistake.
