Gemotions

The attic stairs groaned under Mark's weight. He'd been expecting old furniture and forgotten holiday decorations, not…this. He felt his face grow hot as he took in the scene. A display case holding rows of antique bottles, filled with what looked like colored liquids. A collection of vintage cameras. A worn leather-bound journal. He felt a sudden, inexplicable tightening in his chest. A single word escaped his lips, a breathy, bewildered "Wow." This was going to take some time to sort through.
