One image showed his father, perched on a motorcycle, leather jacket, and a cigarette dangling from his lips. He was laughing, a flash of white teeth against tanned skin. The background was a bustling, lively street, completely unlike the quiet town where he’d grown up.

He rubbed his temples, a strange pressure building behind his eyes. Another photograph showed his father standing at a bar, clearly drunk, being held up by a few friends. This was impossible. This couldn't be him.
