She leaned closer, the screen illuminating her face. A sense of disorientation washed over her. She knew the events described, the locations. But the character… the character was not her. She felt detached, a spectator to her own distorted life.

A strange buzzing noise filled her head. She blinked several times, trying to clear her vision. The room seemed to tilt. She reached for the chair beside the desk, and sat, her legs feeling like jelly.
