"Are you sure this is a time capsule?" asked Ben, his voice flat. He was standing next to his friend, Leo, who held a shovel. They had been exploring the woods behind their houses, a place they’d known their entire lives. Leo, fueled by a strange excitement, had insisted on digging in a specific spot.

Leo grinned, pointing at the small, metal box. "Yep! The old map said so!" Ben crouched, inspecting the box. It was covered in mud. Leo, his excitement undeterred, began to pull it free. Inside were a series of childish drawings. Ben felt a strange detachment, like he was observing someone else's life.
