Gemotions

The classroom was warm, too warm. David shifted in his seat, the wooden surface pressing uncomfortably against his back. The accusation of plagiarism hung in the air, a dark cloud that had settled over him. He felt as if gravity had increased tenfold, pulling him down, down, down.

He rested his chin on his chest for a moment, trying to find some relief. The professor's words, the other students' gazes, all blended into a confusing murmur. His mind felt strangely empty, as if all his thoughts had vanished into the ether.

He felt a primal urge to shut out the world, to sink into a deep, oblivious silence. The weight of it all was crushing.
