Gemotions

"Magnificent, just magnificent," a voice echoed in Eva's head. The words reverberated around her. Her eyes drifted shut. The room tilted. She'd painted her entire life, poured her soul into her art. Someone had stolen it. Well, that's what it felt like. Now, here it was, displayed without her consent, and she felt the creeping desire to just simply disappear, to melt into the floorboards. She swayed slightly, almost dropping the small glass of water in her hand. The art dealer beamed, oblivious to her internal struggle.
