“Well, this is it,” Liam’s sister, Fiona, announced, bouncing on her heels, her eyes bright with expectation. Liam leaned against the cold brick wall of the warehouse, feeling as though he was slowly sinking into the ground. Their father's will was about to be executed.

The executor, a stooped man in a threadbare suit, began to speak. "To my daughter, Fiona, I leave my extensive collection of vintage motorcycles, along with the family workshop." Fiona gasped, her hand flying to her mouth.

Liam’s heart felt heavy, though not with joy.

"And to my son, Liam, I leave… a seemingly empty box.” The man brought out a small wooden box, polished to a high sheen. Liam accepted it, feeling an unusual pressure in his head.
