Elias walked into the apartment and found the usually chaotic living room meticulously tidy. His partner, Kai, was perched on the sofa, a notebook open in his lap. Elias surveyed the scene, a slow smile spreading across his face. Kai was scribbling, his brow furrowed in concentration. He was learning Greek.

"What's going on here?" Elias asked, his voice laced with amusement. Kai jumped, startled, and quickly closed the notebook, but not before Elias had glimpsed a few of the unfamiliar characters.

"Nothing," Kai mumbled, trying to act casual. Elias sauntered over, leaning against the back of the sofa, arms crossed. "Oh really? Because it looks like you're plotting something. What are you up to, my little *μάτια*?" Elias said it with a slight hint of a smile.
