He stepped out onto the balcony, surveying the sweeping view of the city. His architectural design was a landmark, celebrated for its innovation. He had always known he would reach this point. He exhaled a long breath.

While searching for his old blueprints, he came across a hidden box of college papers. He found the letter, addressed to the dean of the architecture school. He chuckled, remembering the day he wrote it.

"Dean," the letter began. "I know this proposal is different..." He read on, detailing his unique vision, and detailing the path to his eventual success. He had been so right. The criticism he received hadn't stopped him.
