Gemotions

The email arrived at precisely 8:03 AM. Both Sarah and I had applied for the same position at the local library. The email stated that my interview was scheduled for later in the week. Sarah, as usual, had asked for my notes on the subject.

I gave her my notes, but added in some intentionally confusing jargon and outdated information. I wanted to see her struggle, just for once.

When Sarah was called in for her interview, I secretly followed her to the waiting room. I saw her face fall when the interviewer asked her about the topics she’d read about.
