Gemotions

The school choir was rehearsing in the music room. He was visiting his sister, who taught there. As he waited in the back, a familiar melody tickled his ears. He strained to listen, and his heart sank. The tune was his, albeit altered, and the choir director was praising it. The children's voices were thin, the arrangement simplistic. He was so enraged that he wanted to stop the rehearsal, but he also realized he was enjoying the spectacle of this terrible version. A smirk stretched across his face as the notes warbled. He leaned against the wall, utterly entertained.
