Gemotions

"We regret to inform you…" The sentence seemed to scream at her from the screen. She felt a flush spread across her cheeks, a tingling sensation in her limbs. It was as if she were plugged into an electrical socket.

She pushed back from the desk so hard her chair nearly tipped over. She stood, heart racing, and began to pace. Her apartment, usually a haven of calm, suddenly felt cramped, suffocating. Every object in the room seemed to vibrate with a restless energy.

She needed to channel this feeling, to use it. She grabbed her journal and started to write, the words pouring out of her with a speed she rarely achieved.
