Gemotions

The spotlights were blinding. He could feel the eyes of everyone in the room on him, but it didn't bother him. In fact, it energized him. He grinned, feeling a tingle spread throughout his body.

He launched into his speech, but he quickly abandoned the notes. Instead, he began to improvise, pulling from a wellspring of childhood memories. He mimicked his father’s walk, his mother’s expressions, punctuating each sentence with animated gestures.

He was in his element, fully present, completely alive. He laughed, he gestured, he danced a little step. He was the life of the party, and he loved it.
