The cold, sterile environment of the office seemed to melt away as they began to speak about Camp Starlight. The familiar details – the counselor nicknames, the campfire songs – filled him with a sudden, unexpected warmth. He was unable to stop smiling. He found himself shifting in his chair, leaning forward, eager for the next detail.

Her face was animated, and she seemed to be glowing. It was like they were the only two people on earth, connected by a shared, cherished secret. A sudden rush of feelings flooded through him, a feeling like light. He wanted to hear everything.

"Wow," he breathed, trying to sound calm. "That is... unbelievable. I was right there with you." He felt a strange tension building in his shoulders.
