Gemotions

The deadline was looming, and the silence in the recording studio was deafening. He shifted in his seat, his leg bouncing. The joy of music, the creative release of mixing and mastering tracks, was gone. It had been replaced by a tight knot in his stomach. His son, Sam, was now a budding DJ, filling their apartment with booming basslines. He had to finish this album, but the weight of it was tremendous. He rubbed his eyes, trying to clear his head, and found himself staring at the sound mixing board, a labyrinth of buttons and knobs.
