He felt a tightness in his chest, a constant pressure that made it difficult to draw a full breath. The world felt muted, as if viewed through a thick pane of glass. He'd been pushing himself too hard, working too many hours, trying to keep up. He was at the breaking point. He needed to find someone to help.

The therapy office was located in a quiet, tree-lined street. He checked his phone again, confirming the address. He walked inside and waited to be called.

“Mr. Davis?”

He stood and walked towards the office. His eyes widened. It was Roger, the boy who used to make fun of him in gym class. Roger, now a therapist, looked at him kindly, and the anger he had been feeling turned to a weary resignation.
