He stared at the photograph, his knuckles white as he gripped the flyer. It was his photograph, a portrait of his grandmother, now displayed in a prominent fashion magazine with a different name attached. He felt cold, an icy hollowness spreading through his core.

His vision blurred. He felt a desperate urge to flee, to escape this… this nightmare. He wanted to scream, to lash out, but the words were trapped in his throat.

He crumpled the flyer in his hand, the paper crackling in the silence of his apartment. The betrayal felt monumental, a crushing weight that stole his ability to breathe. He needed to be alone, far away from all of this.
