Gemotions

The email glowed on Leo's laptop screen, the words of polite disappointment seeming to sneer at him. He slammed the laptop shut, the sudden action jarring the silence of his room. He went to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water. He walked up to the window overlooking the park. It was a beautiful day, full of activity, but he saw none of it.

He thought of all the sacrifices, all the hours spent studying plays, practicing routes. He wasn't going to just give up. He would find another team. He would find a way. He would make them regret their decision. He would keep playing, no matter what.
