The glowing screen reflected Sarah’s face back at her, a mask of tightly wound displeasure. She scrolled back up, re-reading the post – a photo of Liam at a party, a beer casually held in his hand. He’d told her he was at the library. She clenched her jaw, the muscles in her neck protesting. Letting out a small, frustrated puff of air, she put the phone down on the counter with a loud thud. The sound echoed in the otherwise silent kitchen. She would deal with this. Later. When she was ready. Right now, she just wanted to make a cup of tea.
