Gemotions

The first thought that sprang to his mind was, *This is ridiculous*. "Well," he muttered under his breath, "This is just great." The air grew heavier with each passing moment. His co-worker, Susan, tried to start a conversation, but he deflected her attempts with short answers.

He had a report due. He had to present it at the weekly board meeting. Now, he was trapped in a metal box. The injustice of it all consumed him. He'd written the report, carefully, meticulously.

He would not be shown as the weak one, the one who panicked. He would stand here and show no emotion. He'd stand tall, and only acknowledge the situation when absolutely necessary.
