“A farm, really?” Ethan muttered, watching his sister, Olivia, accept the deed to a prestigious law firm, her eyes bright with ambition. He was given a handful of seeds and a tattered gardening guide.

He felt the familiar thud of anxiety in his chest. He was, to put it mildly, out of his depth. He had always taken the easy route, letting others lead. Now, faced with the daunting prospect of cultivating something, anything, he felt a knot tightening in his gut.
