"What in the world…?" Leo stammered, staring at the photo. He found it in his late father’s old things. It was a picture of his parents. His mother wore a wedding ring, but she was holding hands with a different man.

He felt a cold sweat break out on his forehead. This was something he couldn't grasp. The implications were staggering. His entire world felt as if it had shifted.

He sat there, the photograph still clutched in his trembling hands, trying to reconcile the image before him with the reality he had always known. It was too much to take in.
