Gemotions

The letter came from an address he didn’t recognize. Inside, he read an apology from his childhood neighbor, Mark, for something he did many years ago. It felt like something out of a dream. He couldn’t quite believe it was real. He felt a weird, fuzzy sensation in his brain. He dropped the letter onto the table. He stood up, and for some reason, he went and opened the curtains in his living room, even though it was evening. He stared out into the dark, and all he could do was take a deep breath.
