Gemotions

The artwork, his digital painting of a vibrant cityscape, was used in a promotional campaign. The name associated with it was not his. A deep and unsettling weariness settled over Leo.

He knew the other artist. A young, unknown talent, struggling to gain exposure. Leo knew how difficult it was to break into the industry, to get noticed. He remembered the endless rejections, the constant self-doubt.

He felt the familiar ache of frustration, the sting of being overlooked. He felt the anger bubbling up, a need to lash out. He wanted to shout, "It's mine!"

Leo, however, resisted. He sent the agency an email, stating the facts. He didn't demand a lawsuit, or a public apology. He offered them his original file and said he hoped they'd reconsider the credit. He also offered the other artist his own support.
