"Following you!" The notification popped up. It was Coach Miller, her basketball coach, on Instagram. Now he could see all of her posts about complaining about practice and her struggles with her teammates. She immediately wanted to delete everything.

She knew she came off as negative. He probably thought she was being a pain. It made her feel… bad.

During practice the next day, she noticed him watching her. She tried harder, but her usual enthusiasm was gone. She missed a shot, and instead of the usual encouragement, he simply nodded. She felt a sting behind her eyes, the familiar burn of tears threatening to spill.
