Gemotions

The spotlight felt uncomfortably bright on his face. Henry felt his shoulders slump. His musical composition, the culmination of years of work, was now playing in the background, attributed to someone else. He felt a deep ache within him. He found himself staring at the floor.

He had poured his heart and soul into the music, each note a reflection of his innermost self. He thought of the hours spent in his small room, the late-night rehearsals, the struggles and triumphs. He thought of his parents' reactions. He was left with a hollow feeling.
