Gemotions

The package arrived just as Clara was attempting to create a relaxing atmosphere at the end of the day. She'd lit a candle, poured a glass of wine, and was preparing to sink into the sofa, but the unexpected knock at the door destroyed her plans. The delivery person stood there holding a box addressed to the previous tenant. "Mr. Thomas Bellweather."

Her hands trembled as she signed the slip. This was not how she wanted to spend her evening. She put the parcel on the coffee table. She paced the room, unable to settle.

Finally, she gave in to the curiosity and the nagging feeling that this package would be important. Inside, she found a series of cryptic drawings. Strange symbols and diagrams. Her brow furrowed. She felt a growing unease.
