Gemotions

The paper crackled as I unfolded it again. "Write a book of poetry." A shiver ran down my spine. The room felt cold, despite the heating. I didn’t know this side of him. "Travel the world."

My breath caught in my throat. I felt a sudden urge to pace, to move, to *do* something. He'd never spoken of this yearning. The familiar objects in the room seemed to mock me with their stillness.

I picked up the remote, then put it back down, my fingers numb. I felt something akin to vertigo, the world tilting slightly. This list… it changed everything.
