The thought of tomorrow's lunch made Emily's stomach clench. "SunshineDreams" had suggested it. The fact that the person she had spent countless hours with, sharing intimate details, lived in the same city was unsettling enough. The proposed meeting was pure torture.

She tossed and turned in bed that night, unable to sleep. Her mind replayed their conversations, dissecting every word, every nuance. Doubts gnawed at her resolve. She started to think she was crazy for even agreeing to this.

She woke the next morning feeling strangely detached, as if observing herself from a distance. The thought of leaving the house made her muscles stiff. She felt a desperate need to call in sick, to cancel, to vanish.
