He stared at the image on the screen, a perfect replica of his own design. His breath hitched in his throat. He’d poured everything into this – his talent, his time, his finances. Now, it was gone.

The room seemed to spin. The colors around him became dull and muted. He rubbed his temples, trying to clear his head, but the feeling of nausea persisted. He felt a cold sweat break out on his forehead.

He clicked the mouse, navigating the website, the words on the page jumping and dancing before his eyes. It was over. He wanted to shout, to scream, but no sound would come. He felt paralyzed, trapped in a silent nightmare.
