Gemotions

The world seemed to sharpen, the colors bolder. James leaned back in his chair, a slow smile spreading across his face. His brother, Peter, had, finally, it seemed, found his way. It was a relief, a balm.

He wanted to do something special, something meaningful. The familiar ache in his jaw, a sign of clenching, disappeared. He felt the urge to express his feelings, to show his approval. He started by calling Peter's best friend.

He needed to tell someone. He felt, deep inside, a tremendous happiness. They should celebrate!
