The old house felt alive with laughter. Elena, looking through the artwork scattered across the floor, found a drawing that stopped her in her tracks. There it was: The creature, the one with the rainbow-striped tail and the ability to change the color of the sky, her childhood friend. She recognized it in her niece’s creations.

Later, she decided to tidy the house. With each item she put away, she felt a surge of energy. Even after she was tired, she found a burst of renewed energy. She would be able to handle anything that came her way, she thought.
