He stared at the blank screen of his laptop, the words refusing to form. James, a struggling writer, had been invited to a workshop and was drafting an email to his mentor, expressing his appreciation for the opportunity. Wrongly, the text was delivered to his college professor, a person who had always doubted his potential.

He waited for a cutting reply. But, instead, the professor's reply was simple, "Glad to hear. Excited to read the piece. I'll share some notes at the workshop. Break a leg."

James felt an unexpected surge of confidence. He began writing again, the words flowing more freely. He was getting somewhere.
