The garage sale was a blur of discarded possessions until she saw it: Mr. Snuggles. He was smaller than she remembered, his once vibrant fur now faded and worn. The realization that it was *him* made her lightheaded.

A wave of intense nostalgia washed over her, transporting her back to the safe haven of her childhood bedroom. She remembered telling him all her secrets and snuggling with him during nightmares.

She could barely contain herself as she asked the price. The man behind the table, with a bored expression, pointed at a sign that read, “Everything fifty cents.” Fifty cents! She nearly laughed with pure happiness. Clutching Mr. Snuggles tightly, she rushed back to her car.
