Gemotions

The invitation landed on her doormat, crisp and official-looking. Sarah snatched it up, her fingers practically vibrating with anticipation as she tore it open. "High school reunion!" she whooped, a sound that echoed through the otherwise quiet apartment. She immediately began spinning in a circle, a goofy grin plastered across her face.

This was it! A chance to reconnect, to see how everyone had fared, to maybe, just maybe, show off a little. She had so much to tell and share. "Oh, this is going to be magnificent!" she exclaimed to the empty room.

The next hour was spent rummaging through her closet, pulling out every dress, every skirt, every potentially suitable outfit. She tried on everything, struck poses in the mirror, and even practiced her walk. The butterflies in her stomach were doing somersaults.
