The package for "Ms. Isolde Sterling" sat on my doorstep, and my stomach flipped with something akin to glee. I knew I should have refused, but the size and shape alone were irresistible.

Inside, nestled in layers of protective bubble wrap, was a professional-grade telescope. My breath caught as I carefully assembled it, the excitement building with each click and adjustment.
