Gemotions

The band was backstage, prepping for their next gig. Mark was nervous, as always. The other band members had told him he needed to be more confident. Then, from the stage, a familiar bass line rumbled.

Mark’s head shot up. It was "Midnight Train," a song of his from his early days. The music was his, but this group was making it their own, with a new arrangement.

Mark felt the tension melt away. A smile cracked across his face. He pumped his fist in the air. He was filled with a sense of pride. He knew they could do this. This made everything worthwhile.
